What else can go wrong??

Hemorrhoids

Everyone has them. They are a type of vein around the anus or inside the rectum. They can become swollen from straining during bowel movements, sitting too long, constipation, pregnancy, or anything that puts extra pressure there. Hemorrhoids can cause itching, discomfort, pain, or bleeding, especially when you use the bathroom.

Issues with your hemorrhoids can come and go. They only way to get rid of them is with surgery, but this can be extremely painful. The goal should be to avoid making them angry in the first place with good lifestyle changes.

Fissures

Anal fissures are small tears in the skin around the anus. They often happen after passing a hard or large bowel movement and can cause sharp pain or a burning feeling during and after using the bathroom, sometimes with a little bleeding. Even though they can be very uncomfortable, they’re common and often heal with simple treatments that make stools softer and reduce strain.
